Mom and Dad got to head to Washington D.C. for a week with the Farm Bureau. I got a pretty funny text from Dad- "Can't go in capitol. Obama won't let me in." (Actually, the British PM was there for the day so security was beefed up.) Buckle up, America- it could prove to be an interesting 4 years.
Mom and Dad also got to go to Gettysburg, the D.C. temple, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Library of Congress, and Mount Vernon. I was so jealous!
I love the Briggs blog! I can't believe my Aunt and Uncle are doing such crazy, fun things! What fun adventures they are having! Thanks to Dan and Karen, and Annie for getting this started...it will be fun to see what you're all up to.
